dragonette - pick up the phone
dragonette had me at "take it like a man" and i have not heard a terrible song since! she has the most tough soft voice i've heard in a long time. every song sounds perfect for a movie soundtrack. they seriously sound reallllly smart.
p.s. i love musicians who let their videos be embeddable.
